Farm Aid Announces 2011 Concert Location and Date

Farm Aid will hold its annual concert August 13 in Kansas City, Kansas this year.

Willie Nelson created the group in 1985 with Neil Young and John Mellencamp to help raise awareness and money for family farmers.

Over the past years, the concerts have raised $37 million to create grants for farmers. At last year’s 25th anniversary concert for Farm Aid, 35,000 people were in attendance.
