Lynyrd Skynyrd Plans Las Vegas Restaurant

Lynyrd Skynyrd plans to open a restaurant in Las Vegas.

The band will open the eatery in the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. Singer Johnny Van Zandt spoke to VH1 Classic and explained the band’s plans, saying,

“It’s called Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Barbecue and Beer. It ought to be a lot of fun. We took a lot of stuff like from the Hell House because that’s where the band really made their chops out there in Green Cove Springs, Florida, they called it the Hell House and pretty neat thing there so there will be a section there and some different memorabilia and we’re going to go out and play a couple times a year. It ought to be a neat thing to do.”
