Mos Def Joins Dexter, Drops Def
Hip-hop artist and actor Mos, formerly known as Mos Def, has signed onto the sixth season of Dexter.
Mos will portray a hardened ex-con who is continually surrounded by violence though he says he has found religion. His character will be featured in a multi-episode arc, but no word on how many episodes that is.
Colin Hanks has also joined the cast for the upcoming season and will play Travis, Dexter’s main adversary.
Mos has appeared in multiple other television, film and stage productions including House, The Boondocks, Yo Gabba Gabba!, The Italian Job, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Monster’s Ball, Free Man of Color and more.
