Rock of Ages Loses Alec Baldwin

The stellar cast of Rock of Ages is saying goodbye to one member as Alec Baldwin drops out of the Broadway adaptation.

Baldwin was casted as Dennis Dupree, the owner of the nightclub that provided a setting for the film. There is no word as to why he left the movie.

Actors Paul Giamatti, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Julianne Hough, Tom Cruise, Bryan Cranston and Mary J. Blige are all attached to the Adam Shankman project.
