Watch Barry Gibb and Michael Jackson's Collaboration

In an incredibly random move, the Bee Gees’ Barry Gibb has released a personal video on YouTube that captures the disco pioneer’s 2002 collaboration with the late King of Pop.

While the mysterious clip is a mere 30 seconds long, it features Jackson and Gibb working on the track “All in Your Name” a protest song that The Guardian reports was written in reponse to the Iraq war.

According to Gibbs’ brief message accompanying the clip, which was drawn from nearly two hours of footage, the song was recorded by his son, Ashley Gibb, at Miami’s Middle Ear studios, and will be released in full as soon as possible.

Gibbs also posted the following message,

“Michael Jackson and I was the dearest of friends, that’s simply what it was. We gravitated toward the same kind of music and we loved collaborating and he was the easiest person to write with. The more we got to know each other the more those ideas entwined and it all came to this song “All in Your Name.”
