Bon Iver Streams Full Album

In 2008, Justin Vernon quietly slipped out of the indie woodwork with his critically acclaimed debut record, For Emma, Forever Ago.

It didn’t take long before Vernon’s reverberated brilliance went viral. He followed up his first success just a year later with another small piece of grace, his Blood Bank EP.

Then Bon Iver retreated back into his enchanted Wisconsin music den and we didn’t know when he’d be back to feed our sonic appetites that had grown so hungry for his sound.

Today, NPR and The New York Times are gifting listeners with a preview of his latest endeavor, simply titled Bon Iver, which isn’t set for official release until Jun 20.

It’s hard to follow up a great breakout album — there’s always a looming comparison. But there must be something special in those Wisconsin woods because this chapter is definitely comparable.
