Bridesmaids Duo to Re-Team for New Comedy

Though the massive hit comedy Bridesmaids was released just weeks ago, director Paul Feig and producer Judd Apatow have a history that dates back to 1999.

The (unfortunately) short-lived TV series Freaks and Geeks — which launched the careers of Jason Segel, James Franco and Seth Rogen — marks the first time Feig and Apatow worked together.

Now, Deadline has reported that Universal Studios has made a preemptive pitch for a comedy that will reunite the team, with Feig writing and directing and Apatow producing.

The untitled film, which Feig has been working on for a while, is described as “an unconventional love story.” Though not much is known about the movie, we can only expect hilarity from these comedic geniuses.
