David Lynch To Open Mulholland Dr. Nightclub
This fall, Paris will be host to a Mulholland Dr.-themed nightclub.
The Oscar-nominated director David Lynch plans to open Club Silencio, after the original venue in the 2001 film.
Designed by Lynch himself, the club reportedly will include a concert hall, restaurant, library and cinema.
“I enjoy how architecture and design create mood,” Lynch told The New York Times.
Mulholland Dr., starring Naomi Watts and Laura Harring, is about a woman suffering from amnesia and a young Hollywood hopeful whose journeys in Los Angeles bring them to the mysterious Club Silencio.
Lynch’s real-life Club Silencio will open in Paris in September.
