Girl Talk Releases Summer Playlist

Crafting the ultimate summer playlist can be more nerve-wracking than planning the perfect get-together, so it’s a good thing that we can count on Girl Talk mastermind Gregg Gillis to supply his DJ-approved list of 154 tracks that are ideal for a spontaneous barbecue.

Kicking things off with Aaliyah’s “Try Again,” the alphabetical compilation is a diverse blend of both classic and Top 40 artists, including everyone from Guided by Voices to Katy Perry. Gillis explains, “At the Girl Talk show, people really want to rage, but here I was thinking more about what you want to listen to while hanging out on your porch all afternoon.”
