Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor Announces Solo Album
Grizzly Bear bassist Chris Taylor has set a release date for his first solo LP under the name CANT. The album, titled Dreams Come True, will be out Sept. 13 on Taylor’s Terrible Records label.
The pessimistic moniker for Taylor’s side project comes from his temporary inability to finish any of the tunes he had been working on for 16 years. If the cheerier title of his full-length debut is any indication, the musician is feeling a little more confident these days.
According to Consequence of Sound, the record also features George Lewis Jr., who Taylor has previously worked with on Twin Shadow’s Forget as well as on the “Kenya” track created for the Coca Cola Africa Foundation.
