James Franco to Release EP

Back in December, we learned that James Franco, the eccentric actor from Pineapple Express and 127 Hours, planned to team up with drag queen video/performance artist Kalup Linzy for a new music project, simply dubbed Kalup and Franco. The duo is finally releasing their debut EP, titled Turn It Up, on July 12.

Introduced during their soap opera days on General Hospital, Franco has collaborated with Linzy on his avant garde performances in the past. The two are promising music videos for all three songs on the EP, with more celebrities expected to make appearances.
