Kanye West Releases Finished "Monster" Video

Kanye West released his gruesome music video for “Monster” on his website yesterday. The grisly clip, which kicks off with a shot of a hanging female corpse, was found by many to be offensive to women after an unfinished version leaked back in December.

In response to the early controversy, the video starts out with a disclaimer urging viewers to interpret it as “an art piece” and not as “misogynistic or negative towards any groups of people.”

Rick Ross, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj all make appearances for their guest spots in the song, with Minaj stealing the show as usual in a scene where she plays both the torturer and the torturee.
