The Life is good fundraising festival announced its lineup today. Some of the headlining acts include The Avett Brothers, Ray Lamontagne, The Hold Steady and Brandi Carlile.
Life is good teamed up with Superfly Presents, the producers of Bonnaroo, to bring a festival with a cause to Canton, Mass., Sept. 24, and 25.
All of the proceeds from the festival benefit the Life is good Playmakers, a group that helps kids overcome violence, trauma, illness and extreme poverty.
Festival organizers say the festival is centered on music and optimism. Life is good is a family event offering kid-friendly music and activities.
Anyone who raises $500 or more will get VIP access to the festival.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 16. Passes are $65 for one day adult passes and $120 for two day passes. Kid passes are $20 for one day and $35 for two days.
