Rise of the Planet of the Apes Trailer Debuts

Director Rupert Wyatt’s reboot of the classic sci-fi series takes us back to the origins of that damned dirty ape Caesar.

Set in present day San Francisco, Rise of the Planet of the Apes follows a set of genetic engineers as they search for a cure for Alzheimer’s by testing on apes. As the test subject Caesar begins to develop intelligence, he leads a chimp revolt against humanity.

20th Century Fox released a new full-length trailer of the film today. Check it out below.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes, starring James Franco, Freida Pinto, Andy Serkis, and Tom Felton, is set to release August 5.
