Susan Boyle Musical To Hit the Stage

She dreamed a dream, and the world fell in love with her. Now, the world will be able to see Susan Boyle’s dream come to life on the stage.

The cultural phenomenon that is “SuBo” continues with the musical, titled (what else?) I Dreamed A Dream, which will tour Great Britian, Australia and the United States.

Producer Michael Harrison said that Boyle’s story has “all the qualities of a fairy tale, but with the added bonus of being absolutely true.”

The Britain’s Got Talent star will be played by Scottish actress Elaine C. Smith. The musical will open in March in Newcastle, England before its six-month tour.
