The Week in Gaming News [Special E3 Edition]

This week, our weekly gaming roundup will be a little bit different. E3 this past week was cause for a landslide of news about new games, hardware and upcoming games alike. Here is a roundup of the coverage Paste did during the week.

We have more coverage to roll out next week, including tons of hands-on from the show floor with new games, as well as interviews with developers and other industry figures. Stay tuned.

• Microsoft kicked off E3, officially announcing Halo 4, an HD remake of the original Halo campaign, and revealed tons of new information about Modern Warfare 3.
• Sony closed out day one of E3 by rolling out tons of new info about upcoming PS Vita games, as well as showing off upcoming title Uncharted 3.
• Nintendo finished out the big-three press conferences by officially announcing their new console, the Wii U.
• We rounded up impressions via Twitter from various E3 attendees. Check out what they thought was worth tweeting about.
