Download a New Dum Dum Girls Song

Dum Dum Girls have released their first tune from the upcoming LP, Only in Dreams, due out Sept. 27 on Sub Pop.

The heartbreaking slow ballad “Coming Down” was written shortly after frontwoman Dee Dee’s mother passed away, which the singer says put her “in and out of awareness of the depth of the situation.”

“Sometimes when I write, I don’t really analyze what I’m saying, but the more I hear that song the deeper it feels," she said. "I don’t know if I’m addressing life or God or what, but it’s our big, epic song on every scale.”
