Jack White Records with Lanie Lane

The latest artist to be added to Jack White’s long list of collaborators is Lanie Lane, a bluesy Australian-born singer with an impressive set of pipes.

White recorded two songs with Lane that will be released on 7" vinyl and iTunes on Aug. 23. The first number is “Ain’t Hungry,” which Lane’s blog describes as “a fuzz bass sassed stomp number.” The second is “a wailing, waltzing lament to withheld love” called “My Man.”

The single is part of Third Man Records’ Blue Series, which has previously featured First Aid Kit, Laura Marling, and, of course, Stephen Colbert.
