Jens Lekman Announces New EP and Tour

It’s been four long years since we’ve been treated to some new material from Swedish singer-songwriter Jens Lekman.

Earlier this year, we reported that Lekman was hoping to release a follow-up to 2007’s Night Falls Over Kortedala, one of our 50 Best Albums of the Decade, and now the artist has announced that the release of his newest EP, An Argument With Myself, is scheduled for Sept. 20 via Secretly Canadian.

Curiously, Lekman recently told the Walla Walla Washington Union Bulletin that the EP is “a little taste of what’s not to come.”
