Robert Smith’s cover of John Martyn’s “Small Hours” recently debuted on BBC Radio 6 Music.
The perpetually melancholy frontman of The Cure recorded the song as part of a tribute album for the late British music legend titled Johnny Boy Would Love This A Tribute to John Martyn.
Other artists contributing to the record include Beck, Snow Patrol and Bombay Bicycle Club.
