Mercury Prize Nominees Announced

The Mercury Prize committee has announced their top picks for British albums so far this year. This annual music prize honors what critics, musicians and other fixtures in the music community consider to be the best album of the year.

Among the nominees are Adele’s super hit album 21 and PJ Harvey’s Let England Shake. The winners of the award will be announced on Sept. 6 by the BBC.
