Michael K. Williams Joins Cast of Community

Michael K. Williams, who played Omar Little on the much loved and dearly missed show The Wire, has signed on to appear in NBC’s hit comedy Community.

Williams will play a new teacher at the college in the upcoming third season, which premieres Sept. 22.

Since the actor is best known for his portrayals in gritty dramas such as The Wire and Boardwalk Empire, we’re looking forward to his foray into comedy.
