St. Vincent Teases New Album

St. Vincent has launched a brand new campaign to promote her new album Strange Mercy. The artist announced on her website that fans should tweet hashtag #strangemercy to unlock a brand new song off of the upcoming album.

Visitors to her website are greeted with a bar tallying the number of tweets (it’s about 3/4ths of the way full right now). It’s assumed that when it fills all the way up, the track will finally be released.

Accompanying the tally system are a series of mildly disturbing videos promoting the album. Watch all three of them below and buy the album on Sept. 13:
