AMC Could Begin Walking Dead "Wrap-Up" Show

AMC Could Begin Walking Dead "Wrap-Up" Show

AMC is looking for new ways to capitalize on their biggest hit dramas and keep audiences tuned in beyond their favorite weekly shows. In the same vein of what Bravo did with their Real Housewives wrap-ups, Vulture reports that AMC planned to shoot a pilot for a Walking Dead talk show featuring Chris Hardwick. In fact, they’ve even hired the same production company that managed to bring in an average of more than 1.5 million views for the Bravo reality TV “post-game” show.

If they end up going through with it, the “after-show” would begin with the Walking Dead Season 2 premiere in October, and other big dramas such as Mad Men and Breaking Bad could get their own wrap-up shows as well. It could turn out to be a good move for AMC, as these shows definitely generate a lot of buzz and topics worthy of a discussion-based forum.
