Beyoncé's Pregnancy Delays Eastwood's A Star Is Born
Now that Beyoncé is ready to produce the world’s most talented child, other projects are already being put on hold. Warner Bros. is likely to push back the start date of Clint Eastwood’s musical remake of A Star is Born. Eastwood had originally slated next February for shooting the remake, but a new date will be decided upon by the director and studio.
The news might come as a blessing for the movie after Eastwood’s first choice for the lead male role has backed out. While working with Leonardo DiCaprio on the J. Edgar Hoover biopic, Eastwood used time on set to discuss A Star is Born. DiCaprio officially passed on the project recently, but with the pushed back start date, this will give the director plenty of time to look for a new lead. Will Smith and Christian Bale are names that have been said to be under consideration.
