<i>Breaking Bad</i>'s Dean Norris Lands <i>CSI: NY</i> Role

In step with his current role as Albuquerque-based DEA agent Hank Schrader on AMC’s meth drama Breaking Bad, Dean Norris has landed another law enforcement-related role.

TVLine announced last night that he will guest-star in an episode of the upcoming eighth season of CSI: NY as a detective in the Department of Internal Affairs.

In the episode, slated to air sometime in October, his character will investigate a shooting that involves a member of the CSI team.

As of now it has not been announced whether or not Norris will appear in more than one episode, but for now he joins the growing number of guest stars due to appear in the upcoming season, including Courtney Ford (True Blood) and Cassidy Freeman (Smallville).
