Last season on Community, Danny Pudi’s character professed his love for the sitcom Cougar Town, resulting in one of the funniest dialogue exchanges of the show. For those who don’t remember, Pudi’s character, Abed, was on the set of Cougar Town and he “was just standing there and pooped [his] pants.” The execs at Abed’s favorite show thought it was funny enough for Pudi to have a cameo in their show…in character.
Now it looks like spy comedy Chuck fell in love with Pudi as well. It was announced that he would appear in the show’s final season for a cameo. However, it hasn’t been specified whether he would be playing Abed or another character. An episode number for the appearance also has not been named, but Chuck will not return until Oct. 21, so it will more likely be closer to the holiday episodes or after the new year.

Two of my favorite shows. I was just watching the DVD of Community actually and yesterday watched the Chuck panel from ComicCon online. Danny Pudi on Chuck will be a bright spot with Chuck ending. And he was on Cougartown? I don't know. I think Abed is the one person watching that show.
