Franco's Latest Project is Porn Documentary?

At this point, America has learned to take anything James Franco says with a grain of salt. But as TMZ reports, it looks like he’s really following through with a documentary on the pornography industry, which the actor announced he was making in an interview with Conan O’ Brien. A reporter saw Franco checking out one of America’s biggest porn studios in San Francisco. The actor was also talking to employees of the company outside the facility.

“I actually am very interested in pornography,” Franco said in his interview with Conan. “I mean, I watch it, who doesn’t? I guess nobody’s going to raise their hand, but there are a lot of people here who watch pornography. It’s just a fact. So, I’m interested in it. I’m making a documentary about pornography. There’s this amazing facility in San Francisco, it’s at this old armory. They do everything in house, they build their props in house, so I’m making a documentary about that.”

TMZ reported that Franco will begin filming the documentary within the next few months.
