With all of the questionable tales that exist out about Rolling Stones’ guitarist Keith Richards, a memoir was bound to attract a lot of readers. As Crain’s reports, the guitarists’ memoir, Life, has sold more than 1 million copies, making it one of the best-selling memoirs written by a rock star.

The guitarist received a $7 million advance for the book, which was well received by critics. Life reveals the not-too shocking stories of Richards’ drug addiction, hard partying and strained relationships with members of The Rolling Stones.
