Listen to Ben Folds Five's First Song in 12 Years

When Ben Folds Five released their final album The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner 12 years ago, Ben Folds went his own way, forging ahead with a successful solo career. But with Folds’ new career-spanning release The Best Imitation of Myself: A Retrospective, Ben Folds Five will release their first songs since 1999.

The album, which comes out Oct. 11, will feature three songs from Ben Folds Five that were recorded earlier this year. The album will receive a single-disc release as well as a three-disc deluxe edition, which will contain remixes, live versions, covers and more from Folds’ past 20 years of recording.
