The Lincoln Lawyer has gone from book to movie, and now it’s possibly going to be a TV series.
The book started as a crime novel about a lawyer, played by Matthew McConaughey in the film version, with questionable ethics who is put to the test when he faces the ultimate moral dilemma—defending an innocent person.
Now, there’s talk about the project becoming a regular television drama. So far, ABC has ordered a script from Lionsgate, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
There are five books of potential material that surround protagonist Mickey Haller. The book’s writer, Michael Connelly, would co-write the pilot script for the show.
