A miniseries about the RMS Titanic recently started filming in Belfast, North Ireland recently and casting for major roles are entering final negotiations. The 12-part miniseries, Titatnic: Blood & Steel will not be like most other adaptations of the fatal voyage, but will detail the building of the infamous ship.
Stars Kevin Zegers, Chris Noth, Derek Jacobi and Neve Campbell are all in various stages of being cast in Blood & Steel. Zegers would play the man who felt there could be flaws in the metal building the ship while Noth would play the wealthy financier behind the project.
The miniseries, directed by Ciaran Donnelly has not received a deal for distribution in the US, but after another series about the sinking was picked up by ABC, it is expected Blood & Steel will soon find a network.
