AMC has announced that they will produce two new shows: JJK Security, a scripted drama, and Secret Stash, which will be an unscripted show about Kevin Smith’s comic shop in New Jersey.
JJK will follow the lives of a family-owned security company in a rural Southern town with “larger than life characters.” It will premiere in the third quarter of 2012 and will run for eight episodes, unless AMC decides to extend the first season.
Secret Stash is set to document the lives of the people working and visiting Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash, and capture the world of fanboys and the neighborhood they live in. It will only run for six one-hour episodes for the first season and will premiere early next year.
