Beetlejuice Sequel a Strong Possibility

A sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 Beetlejuice is expected to be in the works, thanks to KatzSmith Productions. The company just signed a new two-year deal with Warner Bros. Seth Grahame-Smith, author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, has recently worked with Burton on a script for Dark Shadows and is excited to work on the project.

Instead of rebooting the film, Grahame-Smith stated he plans to “reboot it by advancing the storyline of the original.”

No further information about the deal has been released, but it is expected that this project will become a priority for the company along with adapting Grahame-Smith’s novels for the big screen.
