Community Auctions Off Walk-On Role For Charity
What’s better than a show being hilarious? Being hilarious and charitable—and that’s exactly what Community is. For the second straight year, the show is auctioning off the opportunity to have a walk-on role for an upcoming episode.
This year the auction will be benefiting the Cal State Fullerton chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. The money raised via the auction will help run the Cal State Fullerton Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic as well as the Center for Children Who Stutter.
The auction will end on Sept. 22 at noon PST. It can be found on eBay and the winner will be able to appear alongside some of the most original characters currently on television. Of course, there is some fine print. The set is catered; you get to bring a friend and will be able to get autographs. On the downside, you’ll have to find your own way to Los Angeles, and there’s always the chance your scene gets cut.
