FX Orders Animated Series From Always Sunny Writers

Yesterday Nick Grad, executive vice president of original series for FX, announced via press release that the network has ordered 13 episodes of a new animated series with the working title Unsupervised, created by Rob Rosell, Scott Marder and David Hornsby, all of whom work as writers and producers on the popular comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

So far the voice cast includes Justin Long, Kristen Bell, Romany Malco, Fred Armisen, Kaitlin Olson and Alexa Vega, along with Rosell and Hornsby. The show will be animated by Archer executive producers Adam Reed and Matt Thompson and will follow the misadventures of two optimistic 15-year-old friends Gary and Joel as they trudge through teenage life with zero supervision.
