Jonny Greenwood to Release LP with Krzysztof Penderecki

It was revealed last week that classically trained Radiohead multi-instrumentalist Jonny Greenwood was collaborating with renowned Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki and was to perform alongside Aphex Twin at the Sacrum Profanum festival in Poland.

Now somewhat more concrete details have surfaced: Greenwood and Penderecki plan to release the product of their collaborative sessions in Krakow, Poland, as a full-length album.

Though the official release date is yet to be determined, the album will be released on Nonesuch Records and prepared by the National Audiovisual Institute. It will include material which was unveiled last week at the two’s performance at the European Culture Congress in Wroclaw, Poland. Sacrum Profanum artistic director Filip Berkowicz is serving as the album’s producer.
