Leonard Cohen to Release Career-Spanning Box Set

Legacy Recordings has announced it will release a massive box set on Oct. 11 commemorating Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen turning 77 this year. Cohen’s actual 77th birthday is today.

Titled The Complete Albums Collection, the box set will feature all 17 of Cohen’s studio and live albums repackaged in CD jackets that will mirror the original LPs. It will also include a 36-page booklet featuring an essay as well as detailed recording information about each album.

Cohen has been critically lauded and admired throughout his five-decade career, hailed for his complex, rich lyrical content that often focuses on spirituality and relationships as well as his novels and poetry outside of music.
