Still on a high after her pleasantly surprising Emmy win, Melissa McCarthy has announced that she will be developing and producing a new sitcom. The multi-camera show will air on CBS, the same network McCarthy’s Mike and Molly calls home.
The untitled show will reportedly star McCarthy herself as a woman who changes her life completely after going through a mid-life crisis. If starring in two comedies on the same network isn’t enough work for the Emmy winner, she’s sure to be picking up more film roles after breaking out this year in Bridesmaids.
McCarthy can be seen back on television when the second season of Mike and Molly returns Sept. 26.
