Modern Family, Mildred Pierce Win Big at Emmys

Last night, the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards were announced with the help of host Jane Lynch. ABC’s Modern Family was the big winner of the night, taking home five awards for Outstanding Writing and Directing for a Comedy Series, Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor and Actress in a Comedy Series for Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen, respectively.

In drama, Mad Men won Outstanding Drama Series for their fourth consecutive season, while Friday Night Lights made two surprise victories for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Kyle Chandler.
