New Order Reunites for Fundraisers Without Peter Hook

The Quietus reported yesterday that New Order will reunite for two fundraiser shows in Europe without founding member Peter Hook.

The fundraisers — held on Oct. 17 at the Ancienne Belgique and Oct. 18 at La Blataclan — are meant to raise money for filmmaker Michael Shamberg, who The Quietus says is “suffering from serious health problems.” Shamberg worked on videos for the band and was in charge of Factory Records, the band’s label, in New York.
