Radiohead Hints at 2012 Tour

This weekend, Argentinian music blog site Al Tuntún published an exclusive interview with guitarist Ed O’Brien of Radiohead, the content of which alluded to an upcoming tour and was promptly circulated around Radiohead fan sites.

Authors Casandra Scaroni and Samuel Dietz provided an English translation of the article to make it more accessible to readers in the Western world. To add to the legitimacy of the interview, they posted two pictures of O’Brien chatting with them in person.

While explaining the studio-driven approach to songwriting that created most recent album The King of Limbs, O’Brien let it slip that the band is in the process of booking shows for next year.

No other details or official announcements have surfaced yet, but O’Brien usually speaks truthfully on the band’s behalf—thus it seems highly likely Radiohead will be hitting the road in 2012. Keep your eyes peeled for more information.
