Thom Yorke Announces Radiohead Tour, Atoms For Peace Album in 2012

What had been rumored and speculated upon for months is finally true: Radiohead will be touring in 2012. As Pitchfork and a Radiohead fan site point out, Thom Yorke made the announcement while co-hosting Gilles Peterson’s BBC Radio 1 Show. After announcing two New York shows, as well as guest spots on Saturday Night Live and The Colbert Report, a 2012 tour seems like a logical and exciting follow-up.

In other Radiohead-related news, Thom Yorke’s supergroup Atoms For Peace is finally finishing up work on their album, which is said to be set for release in 2012. The band includes members like Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich.
