Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman To Sing Together in Les Miserables

In December 2012, prepare to hear a Gladiator and Wolverine sing together.

In Tom Hooper’s next project after directing the Best Picture winner The King’s Speech, his film adaptation of Les Miserables will feature both Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman in the musical.

Crowe will play Inspector Javert, while Jackman will play Jean Valjean. The film will also star Helena Bonham Carter, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in The King’s Speech. It’s being written by Gladiator scribe William Nicholson.
