The Walking Dead To Split Up Second Season

The Walking Dead To Split Up Second Season

For those who have been left waiting almost an entire year for the return of The Walking Dead, there’s some good news and some bad news.

The good news is the season premiere, airing on Oct. 16, will be a 90-minute premiere, so those who have been waiting to get their latest zombie fix will get twice the episode.

Unfortunately with the good comes the bad. AMC will be splitting the second season into two parts. The first seven episodes will start on Oct. 16, with the final six episodes slated to begin airing on Feb. 12.

AMC’s lineup is looking more packed than ever before. Along with old favorites like Mad Men and Breaking Bad, AMC’s picking up of two new shows Hell on Wheels and the Kevin Smith-produced Secret Stash will at least give AMC fans something old and new to keep their needs sated.
