Thomas Bangalter, one half of electronica pioneers Daft Punk, directed and did the cinematography on a short film for the LA-based fashion house Co’s, which just opened earlier this year. The film is titled Spring-Summer 2012 and is likely an advertisement for Co’s upcoming lines for those seasons.
From the website: “Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter directs French actress Elodie Bouchez in the spring 2012 film for fashion label Co. Shot on location in Marrakesh, Morocco with vintage lenses (including filters Stanley Kubrick used on the set of Barry Lyndon), the film conjures 70s science fiction and horror films like The Hunger and Altered States, as well as period pieces from the era such as Death in Venice.”
