Watch Explosions in the Sky's New Video

Although Explosions in the Sky just dove into the video-making game, they’re making up for lost time. Last June’s “Last Known Surroundings” was the band’s first video and now they’ve released the follow-up, “Be Comfortable, Creature,” which you can watch below. It was directed by Paul Logan.

“Be Comfortable, Creature” follows a bummed-out wooly-looking thing through a mundane but realistic daily life. The creature spends most of its time wandering around a city and thinking about a girl before he starts shedding his orange fur.

“He’s one of those outer space creatures — almost like ‘E.T.’ — that you relate to and feel for because of the human qualities that he’s inhibiting throughout the video,” guitarist Munaf Rayani told Billboard. “Not as comedic as ‘Elf,’ but definitely as heartfelt as a Muppet.”
