Watch Paul Simon Perform "The Sound of Silence" at Ground Zero
Paul Simon performed a goosebump-worthy rendition of “The Sound of Silence” at Ground Zero yesterday for the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The singer/songwriter wore a 9/11 memorial hat during the performance. Simon performed alone with only an acoustic guitar, and the notable silence of the huge space around him speaks volumes.
