Watch Radiohead Play The Colbert Report

“How did you guys get started? Did you win Idol, or The X Factor or Britain’s Got Talent?”

It’s about what you’d expect from a Radiohead appearance on The Colbert Report. The band played the Comedy Central host’s show last night, and Thom Yorke and company fielded awkward questions about global warming, the British Invasion and big corporations.

But Colbert didn’t hold back on the group, and at one point it seems to get a little uncomfortable, with Colbert giving his interview from a “Dr. Pepper Fan Zone” chair to the band that is notoriously against corporations.

“Yeah, we didn’t actually talk about that,” Yorke said about the Dr. Pepper-sponsored chair, and later added, “It tastes like that stuff you get from the dentist when you want to swill your mouth.”

The band also played an extended set that was heavy on The King of Limbs material. They also played the unreleased “The Daily Mail.” You can watch the videos of the performances below.
