First Image From The Three Stooges Film Revealed

After years of trying to get their film version of The Three Stooges released, the Farrelly Brothers have finally released the first image of the infamous trio.

The film, which the Farrelly Brothers have been working on since 1996, will star Sean Hayes of Will & Grace as Larry, Chris Diamantopoulos from 24 as Moe and MADtv’s Will Sasso as Curly.

The cast originally was planned to feature Benicio del Toro as Moe, Jim Carrey as Curly and Sean Penn as Larry, but all three have since dropped out.

The film will take place in the present, but will be divided into three half-hour parts and will also feature Larry David, Jennifer Hudson, Sofia Vergara and Jane Lynch. The Three Stooges will finally be released on April 4, 2012.
